About: 2nd year Illustration student at the University of Salford. This is my professional context blog. Thank you for reading this and have a good day.
On this blog i post a combination of work that i enjoy, work that inspires me, and loose shavings of my own work. If you wish to follow my blog please understand a percentage of the posts are intended for marking and grading, and will often be for my own personal use. I am inspired by the story telling and drawings of many different cultures throughout time, how they document there ideologies and ways of life, on the 2D plane, illustration ripe with texture and history. I am greatly inspired by people like Todd James, So-Me, Karel Appel, Bridget Riley, Rene Gruau, Stanley Donwood, Jimmy Beaulieu. Colours upon colours. If you want to check out my personal collection, please visit my website here.

My process is choreographic and sometimes rough. At the end I want the pictures to snap to attention, become animate, and light up the room. There are loose references to architecture, landscape, and textiles but the goal is to make a free space for the viewer’s imagination.’
